Never compromise

You know the feeling. You put on a clay mask to draw out the week — the excess oil, the build-up, whatever's settled into your pores — and ten minutes later your skin feels tight, squeaky, a little papery. You wanted it clean. You didn't want it stripped.

Here's the thing: most clay masks are mostly clay. And clay, left to its own devices, doesn't know when to stop — it keeps pulling, taking the moisture your skin actually wants to keep along with everything else. That tight feeling isn't the mark of a job well done. It's the compromise no one mentions.

So we built ours the other way around.

Jora is over 80% raw honey, with glacial clay as the supporting act — not the whole show. The clay does its work, drawing out what you don't want, while the honey stays close behind doing what honey has always done: softening, comforting, holding moisture in place. No water to dilute it. No harshness to brace against.

We make it by hand, twenty-four tubes at a time — because the moment you make more than you can watch over, the compromises quietly creep back in.

That's the whole philosophy, really. Never compromise — and mean it in the place no one can see. Not in the words on the tube. In the formula inside it.
