Welcome to Jora Organics. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website [joraorganics.com] (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or joining our list, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — we've kept them as plain as we can.

1. Who we are

This Site is operated by The Apothecary Island Pte Ltd (UEN: [202122513Z]), a company registered in Singapore. "Jora" and "Jora Organics" are trademarks and brands of The Apothecary Island Pte Ltd (referred to in these Terms as "Jora", "we", "us", "our").

2. Using our Site

You're welcome to browse, read, and join our list. In return, you agree not to misuse the Site — that means no attempting to disrupt or damage it, no scraping or copying it for commercial use, and no using it for anything unlawful.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to purchase from us.

3. Our content belongs to us

Everything on this Site — our name, logo, "Jora", product names, photography, video, text, and design — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse any of it without our written permission. We're a small brand and our look is hard-won; please don't borrow it.

4. The waitlist & email subscription

When you join our list, you're giving us permission to email you about Jora — our launch, our products, and the occasional note. We'll only ever use your email for that purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Joining the list does not guarantee you a product. Our batches are small and made by hand, and stock is limited. Being on the list means you'll hear from us first when products become available — it is not a reservation or a purchase.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Our products

Jora products are cosmetics, intended for external use only.

• Patch test first. We recommend testing a small amount on your inner arm before first use. If irritation occurs, stop using the product.
• Check the ingredients. Our full ingredient list is provided on the product page and packaging. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity (including to honey, bee products, or any listed ingredient), please review it carefully before purchasing or using. You are responsible for confirming a product is suitable for you.
• Not medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Nothing on this Site is medical or dermatological advice. If you have a skin concern, please speak to a qualified professional.
• Natural variation. Because our products are made by hand in small batches using natural ingredients, slight variations in colour, texture, or scent between batches are normal and not a defect.
• Images. We photograph our products as honestly as we can, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.

6. Orders & pricing

(The following applies once our shop is open.)

• All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD)[ and are inclusive / exclusive of GST as indicated at checkout].
• We try to keep all pricing and product information accurate, but errors can happen. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you've ordered, we'll contact you before processing and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.
• Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order once we send you a confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — for example, if an item is out of stock or if we suspect fraud — in which case we'll refund any payment in full.
• Because our batches are limited, we may also limit the quantity any one customer can purchase.

7. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider. We don't store your full card details. By placing an order you confirm that the payment method used is yours and that you're authorised to use it.

8. Shipping & delivery

• Delivery times and any shipping costs are shown at checkout. These are estimates — we'll do our best, but we can't guarantee exact delivery dates once a parcel is with the courier.
• Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Please make sure your shipping details are correct, as we can't be responsible for parcels sent to an incorrectly entered address.

9. Returns, refunds & exchanges

We want you to be happy with your order. Because our products are skincare and a hygiene item, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened or used products, except where required by law.

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us at hello@joraorganics.com within [7] days of delivery, with your order number and a photo. We'll make it right — a replacement or a refund.
• Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or the Sale of Goods Act, which continue to apply to faulty goods.

10. Our responsibility to you

We take real care in what we make, but to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Site and our products "as is", and make no guarantees that the Site will always be available or error-free.
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products.
• Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Please see our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Links to other sites

Our Site may link to other sites (such as A For Apothecary or our social channels). We're not responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't control.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this Site at the time of your use or purchase is the one that applies. We'll update the "Last updated" date whenever we make a change.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
